For the first time in its history, Chanel has showcased its latest Cruise ’21 collection through a virtual presentation that took us on a journey around the Mediterranean.

Whilst the clothes offered “a wardrobe that can be carried in a little suitcase on wheels, a shopper and an embroidered handbag”, its vacation-ready silhouettes were complimented with beauty looks that revolved around freshness and summer radiance.

It was all about bringing out the light through the texture of the skin by using a mixture of very transparent foundation, balm, creamy cheeks and subtle shadows.” – Lucia Pica

The perfect look to adopt this summer, Lucia Pica (Chanel’s Global Makeup Artist) used nudes, pinks and golden tones to illuminate the complexion – resulting in the ultimate ‘glow’ of the summer.

Skincare has always been of importance to the maison and for the line-up of Cruise ’21 beauty looks, Pica started with the Hydra Beauty Micro Gel Yeux, Hydra Beauty Micro Serum and the Hydra Beauty Camellia Water Cream.

Next, Pica used a plethora of Chanel’s coveted beauty products including Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint, the Le Volume Révolution De Chanel mascara and the Les Beiges Summer of Glow collection.
