But Puma, always up for a challenge, decided to take things to the next level. Enter the ‘Speedcat Ballet,’ the brand’s new hybrid creation that ditches traditional laces in favor of a strap for a ballet-flat-meets-Mary-Jane look. The Puma ‘Speedcat Ballet’ was unveiled at Copenhagen Fashion Week during the OpéraSPORT runway show, fueling plenty of social media buzz. If history tells us anything, it’s that the Puma ‘Speedcat Ballet’ is about to fly off shelves. The original ‘Speedcat’ was already Puma’s best-selling sneaker ever, and with ballet core still going strong, this mash-up of sporty and chic is an instant hit.
