From the first calendar timepiece recorded in the Manufacture’s archives in 1790 to the 2024 Les Cabinotiers The Berkley Grand Complication watch equipped with 63 complications, the Manufacture has explored many fields of technical expression: chiming watches, mechanisms for measuring short intervals of time, astronomical functions, special displays and tourbillon regulators.
As 2025 unfolds, the Maison celebrates an extraordinary human adventure spanning centuries, embodying its deep commitment to knowledge transfer and the pursuit of beauty in its highest forms of horological artistry.
Marking 270 years of passion, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence in watchmaking, Vacheron Constantin presents a special tribute: the Historiques 222 watch crafted in stainless steel. Initially unveiled in 1977 to commemorate the Maison’s 222nd anniversary, this year sees a new edition, dubbed “Jumbo” by collectors, featuring a blue dial encased in a 37mm steel case.
This new edition enhances technical advancements, redesigning bracelet links to conceal visible pins and improving wearer comfort. The caseback, bearing a signature marking the Maison’s 270th anniversary, features transparent sapphire glass, revealing the Caliber 2455/2 crafted within the Maison’s workshops.
With the date window relocated to the center, maintaining the distinctive design and classical allure of the original model, the 2025 steel edition emerges with a thoroughly contemporary design, embodying the Maison’s core values of sophisticated elegance, effortless comfort, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
