Balmain is turning its upcoming runway show into a music festival

It's about to be a party...
Balmain is getting ready to put on a show later this month...

We’re a few weeks away from welcoming another season of Paris Men’s Fashion Week and whilst little is known about the upcoming schedule, we do know that Balmain‘s Olivier Rousteing has something pretty exciting up his sleeve for the brand’s next Spring 2020 collection.

It seems like Balmain is going to continue to put on a show but this time, a musical kind.

The upcoming menswear collection will unfold in Paris later this month, as part of the city’s Fête de la musique — an annual all-night musical celebration.

According to WWD, the presentation will be set to a soundtrack created by French DJ Gesaffelstein, followed by a series of live concerts curated by the Creative Director. The runway-turned-concert will take over an ephemeral festival location to be built in the Jardin des Plantes, a 384-year-old garden on the Parisian left bank.

Balmain’s Spring 2020 show will take place on June 21, 2019.
