2025 fashion trust arabia
Inside the 2025 Fashion Trust Arabia ceremony in Doha, where emerging designers, global guests, and regional visionaries gathered to celebrate the future of fashion.

Since its launch in 2018, Fashion Trust Arabia has become one of the most powerful engines shaping the creative landscape of the Middle East and North Africa. Established under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the non-profit has stood at the center of the region’s fashion evolution, consistently identifying the designers who are ready not just to join the global conversation, but to influence it. Its mission is simple and ambitious: scout, fund, and mentor MENA talent with the kind of guidance and visibility that shifts careers, rewrites trajectories, and strengthens the regional fashion economy in a meaningful way. As the first initiative of its kind in the region, FTA has grown into an essential bridge between rising designers and the world’s most established creative circles.

This year, the FTA Prize returned to the National Museum of Qatar, transforming one of Doha’s most iconic cultural institutions into a meeting point for industry forces, global celebrities, and regional voices who understand the urgency of creative investment. Under the presence of FTA Honorary Chair Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and welcomed by Co-Chairs Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Tania Fares, the ceremony carried a sense of both celebration and momentum. Queen Latifah and Egyptian actor Aiman Kaissouni hosted the night, setting the tone for a ceremony that felt thoughtful, international, and culturally anchored.

The guest list brought familiar global faces to the glittering 2025 Fashion Trust Arabia gold carpet. Adrien Brody, Lindsay Lohan, Emma Roberts, Juliette Binoche, Regina King, Farida Khelfa, Golshifteh Farahani, Mario Testino, Alton Mason, Lori Harvey, Pom Klementieff, Georgina Rodríguez, supermodels, Gisele Bündchen, Nora Attal, Natalia Vodianova and more arrived to champion a new generation of talent. Musical performances by Saint Levant and Chaka Khan got the guests grooving.

But the night ultimately belonged to the designers.

A jury of industry leaders convened at M7 Msheireb to select seven winners across Ready-to-Wear, Eveningwear, Accessories, Jewelry, the Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award, the Fashion Tech Award, and the Guest Country Award: India, presented with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. It was a competitive year, with 21 finalists pushing the boundaries of craft, technology, and cultural storytelling.

For the first time, FTA partnered with Kering for the Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award, offering the winner a customized mentorship program. It was a strategic collaboration rooted in a shared conviction that the next era of luxury depends on bold creative thinkers and meaningful support systems. Visit Qatar, the Diamond Sponsor for 2025, also played a defining role, presenting the Ready-to-Wear Award and reinforcing its ongoing investment in the region’s creative industries.
