ALENA LAVDOVSKAYA CAPTURES THE ENERGY OF SPRING/SUMMER 2026 IN SKETCH.

A visual ode to fashion’s new era.
In a season marked by seismic shifts across the industry, artist Alena Lavdovskaya translates the emotion, tension, and beauty of Spring/Summer 2026 into sketches that capture fashion's soul.

Few seasons in recent fashion memory have carried the weight or the anticipation of Spring/Summer 2026. With new creative directors stepping into some of the industry’s most storied houses, the runways became statements of legacy, identity, and change. For Alena Lavdovskaya, whose career has always intertwined art and observation, it was fertile ground for reinvention through illustration.

A seasoned artist who began her journey in fashion retail before working alongside the likes of Naomi CampbellCindy Crawford, and Eva Herzigova, Lavdovskaya’s relationship with fashion has never been distant. She has seen the pulse of backstage chaos, the rhythm of fittings, the unguarded seconds before a model steps onto the runway. Her sketches—alive with movement and feeling—capture its essence.

Lavdovskaya’s pen has become a kind of interpreter between fabric and emotion. Her new series of sketches inspired by the Spring/Summer 2026 shows serves both as art and commentary. Each drawing feels like a visual shorthand for the mood of the collection depicted.

Spring/Summer 2026, with all its unpredictability, seemed almost destined for her to capture. “Paris Fashion Week blew my mind this time,” she said. Really loved the backstage chaos, the makeup, and the touching moments of the shows,” she explained.

In a season defined by creative risk and renewal, Alena Lavdovskaya’s sketches feel like both tribute and mirror. They remind us that fashion, at its best, is about capturing a fleeting moment in culture before it changes again.
