Playing UNO is an addicting game, endearingly nostalgic to young adults and families everywhere. BMW has transformed Uno into a playable in-car experience, a new twist on the classic card game from classic card game from Mattel. This exciting game, created in collaboration with Mattel and AirConsole, was recently unveiled at this year’s Games in Cologne, Germany and has begun rolling out to over 500,000 BMW and MINI vehicles giving passengers Uno’s in-car gaming experience.
Accessible from August 21st, 2024 UNO car party allows up to four players to connect using their personal devices as controllers, allowing each player to privately view their cards on their devices. A game that brings people together through its simple universal gameplay that transcends cultures and languages. It’s a perfect setup whether a family is on a road trip or if you’re out with a group of friends. This gaming experience on the car’s infotainment system will turn every car ride into a fun, interactive experience.
It combines the strengths of AirConsole with a game loved by everyone, a bespoke integration to the car hardware and our phone-controlled gaming experience,” said Anthony Cliquot, CEO of AirConsole.
It’s worth noting that the game can only be played when the vehicle is parked, ensuring safety remains a priority.
