Every festive season, Dior excels in creating a wonderland where multiple activations take place around the world with a holiday collection at the forefront. This year, the Maison are teaming up with Harrods, London’s iconic department store, for the upcoming festive season – and it’s making us look forward to celebrating more so than ever before.
For the occasion (and for the first time ever) the department store’s facade will be adorned with a monumental installation of a symbolic element so dear to Monsieur Dior: the compass rose. It will be animated by a dazzling interplay of lights featuring some of the fashion brand’s classic emblems.
Also, Dior will be taking over all 44 of Harrods windows to showcase signature facets of the Maison including the Dior gold star, Bar jacket and Medallion chair – the full run of which will be transformed into captivating decor composed of gingerbread, caramel and multiple delights showcasing the House’s various universes and iconic symbols, from fashion, perfume and jewellery to beauty and homeware.
Continuing your quest for excellence once you’re inside the department store, you’ll be met with fascinating surprises and gourmet treats to discover. Moments of magic, exclusive creations, a Dior micro-village and a cafe – all a part of The Wonderful World of Dior – complete the magical atmosphere on each floor of London’s prestigious department store.
‘The Wonderful World of Dior’ at Harrods will take place from November 10, 2022, to January 3, 2023.
