Christian Louboutin unveils photo exhibit to celebrate women in the UAE

In honour of its new collection
Christian Louboutin has just released the fifth edition of its nudes collection and to celebrate, the brand has curated a photo exhibit of UAE women...

Christian Louboutin made footwear history when it first released its nudes collection in 2013, with styles correlating to several shades of skin tone to help broaden the understanding of what constituted a ‘nude’ shade for women of all skin types. Now in its fifth edition, the collection has proven to be one of the brand’s most popular and this season sees the introduction of a brand new style: Degrastrass PVC. The style features clear PVC that is adorned with strass for a beautifully light-reflecting and eye-catching effect.

To celebrate the new style (which is available in seven shades from fair to dark), the brand has launched a seven-day photo exhibit next to its Mall of the Emirates store to celebrate the women of the UAE. Each of the women — Alia Khan, Gbemi Gewa, Leena Al Ghouti, Manel Ben Said, Mariam Al Badr, Salama Mohamed and Saliha Afridi — is wearing a different shoe shade and “embody the strength of unifying towards a common goal of progress” according to the brand.
