Design Days Dubai will now be known as Downtown Editions

New year, new name
Design Days Dubai, one of the region's leading design fairs, is undergoing a transformation for 2018...

Design Days Dubai first launched six years ago and has enjoyed increasing success with every new year. This year is set to be even bigger and better following today’s announcement that the fair will rebrand for the 2018 season.

Now called Downtown Editions, the fair will merge with Downtown Design to form the largest creative festival in the region, held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority. It will take place at Dubai Design District (d3) during Dubai Design Week in November and will “be a curated exhibition of bespoke design, capsule collections, individual studios and designer collaborations,” according to a release. By combining the two fairs to create one super fair the hope is that “it will emphasise Dubai’s position as a thriving design destination.”

The fair will be open to both industry professionals and the public and will offer everything from furniture to limited edition pieces whilst showcasing the newest trends in design across industries and from around the world.
