WHAT’S HAPPENING AND WHERE?
Kickstart the festivities at Hisn Khorfakkan on November 23, where maritime-themed displays and traditional performances take center stage from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Head to Bait Al Naboodah on November 26 (5:00 PM to 8:00 PM) for heritage workshops, nostalgic games, and Emirati culinary delights, t’s a must-visit for family bonding.
The spotlight shifts to Bait Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamad Al Qasimi in Kalba on December 2, as it hosts an enchanting mix of cultural exhibitions, live music, and engaging workshops from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
And you can’t miss the vibrant scene at the Sharjah Maritime Museum from December 1 to 3. Running daily from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, the lineup promises live performances, spirited competitions, and interactive fun for visitors of all ages.
DIVE INTO ONGOING EXHIBITIONS
SMA’s celebrations extend beyond National Day with captivating exhibitions. Visit Bait Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamad Al Qasimi to explore “Letters Exchanged: Correspondence of Sheikh Saeed and His Family,” showcasing rare historical letters. Meanwhile, the Sharjah Archaeology Museum introduces kids to the wonders of archaeology with hands-on displays in “Journey of Discoveries.”
