Last year, Selena Gomez officially handed over the Instagram baton to Ariana Grande as she become the most followed woman in the world.
Now, Instagram has just revealed its annual list of most-followed celebrities in 2020 and Grande is still in the IG spotlight with a whopping 191 million followers. Although the musician is the most followed woman, she still falls in second place as the overall star in prime position as the most followed person in the world is footballer Cristiano Ronaldo – who has an impressive 225 million followers.
Joining them in the league tables is Dwayne Johnson, Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez in the top five.
