What do Oprah Winfrey, Naomi Campbell and Marie Kondo have in common?

Some of the biggest celebrities are coming together for a global livestream event...

The ongoing coronavirus crisis is still impacting everyone across the globe and whilst we all may be social distancing; the human race has somewhat never been closer. Celebrities and influential figures, too, are coming together for a 24-hour livestream this weekend and the global event will help those impacted by the current pandemic.

Titled “The Call to Unite”, the livestream will bring together a slew of prolific names (approximately 200) that range from actors, musicians and public figures, where they’ll offer performances, lessons and conversations for those tuning in.

The event will provide support to those impacted by COVID-19 as viewers will have the opportunity to submit donations to two organisations directly through the livestream: GiveDirectly (which helps lower-income people impacted by the pandemic) and Points of Light (which assists organisations and non-profits on maximizing their relief efforts).

As to who you can expect to see on “The Call to Unite” livestream, the list includes Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts, Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Garner, President George W. Bush, Eva Longoria, Mandy Moore, Marie Kondo and many more.

The livestream, which begins on May 1 at 8pm (that will be May 2 at 4am for us in Dubai), will be available on “The Call to Unite’s” Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch and LinkedIn pages, as well as on SiriusXM Stars channel 109. Portions of the livestream will also be available on Spotify.
