Victoria and David Beckham defined couple goals at the National Portrait Gallery Gala last night

Sleek and sophisticated
Last night it was the National Portrait Gallery Gala in London. Besides the presence of the gallery's royal patron Kate Middleton, Victoria and David Beckham were in attendance, too. And they were all the #couplegoals...

It’s quite rare to see Victoria and David Beckham in a joint appearance. They both have their separate career strands – one in fashion, the other in sport and philanthropy. Of course we do see the couple (and indeed the entire family) at VB’s show where the clan sit on the FROW – but that’s kind of not the same thing, because VB’s working, he’s minding the kids etc.

But last night, the couple, who have been married for 20 years (!!) this July, stepped out together for a night out at the National Portrait Gallery Gala in London. And they looked every bit #couplegoals.

So, as always, let’s deconstruct their sartorial choices…

VB wore a masculine-cum-feminine ensemble: a volumptious white long-sleeved blouse, and a pair of baggy (but still sculpted) black trousers over tights. We heart her pop of fuchsia in the shoe department.

David was quite the gentleman in a dapper silk lapel tux and bowtie.

Also in attendance were Bianca Jagger, Kate Moss, Jourdan Dunn and Alexa Chung. Looks like it was a who’s who of London’s it-crowd…

Now, see where Givenchy are to stage a stand-alone men’s show this year.
