Versace’s Chinese New Year collection is inspired by Donatella’s dog, Audrey

Year of the Dog
Chinese New Year is fast approaching and fashion houses are releasing dedicated collections to celebrate. See Versace's below...

Late last month, Gucci released a series of canine-filled images to promote its newest collection designed specifically for Chinese New Year. Louis Vuitton followed suit, releasing a series of Year of the Dog updates to its Tambour Horizon smart watch and now, Versace has unveiled its collection.

Inspired by Donatella‘s own Jack Russell, called Audrey, the collection features both men’s and womenswear with Audrey’s face emblazoned on a range of T-shirts in different colours. Swarovski crystals and micro studs add a hint of glimmer to the pieces.

In addition to the clothing, Audrey’s face adorns a range of accessories from keyrings to wallets and backpacks. Plus, the brand has released a limited edition update of its DV One bag in red dégradé to represent luck and joy, in both a top handle and clutch.
