Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli presents the Le Blanc project

Wonder in white
Valentino's prized white shirt can truly be the most individual as you'll soon be able to have your very own mini couture appointment...

Valentino is perhaps one of the strongest contenders on the Paris Fashion Week calendar, and with every collection Pierpaolo Piccioli puts forward, his abundance of creativity receives a standing ovation (including a few tears from Celine Dion) — and we understand why.

For Spring/Summer ’20, Piccioli delivered one of our favourite collections to date and he opened the show in September with 12 all-white looks that ranged in silhouettes — think shirt dresses, rompers and crisp shirts. And a white shirt has always been a wardrobe staple.

This Spring, the maison are highlighting the basic piece and how you can turn it into the most individual with a sense of couture sensibility.

Next month, Valentino is launching an exclusive made-to-order service that will be available for its devoted clientele in the Middle East. Titled Le Blanc, the project will allow clients to order from the Spring ’20 collection, and you can personalise it with different fits and embellishments. You can even think of it like a walk-in couture appointment.

The Le Blanc project will be offered at The Dubai Mall from March 8-11 and at Mall of the Emirates from March 12-14. A pop up will complement the prêt-à-porter with a new accessories range at Level Shoes.

Now, find out why Valentino’s Spring/Summer ’20 Haute Couture collection is a very wearable one.
