The three new brands joining Net-a-Porter’s fifth season of The Vanguard

Net-a-Porter have long been leading the way for emerging designers and supporting them through its Vanguard mentorship, and since its inception, have celebrated four successful seasons. 

Now in its fifth season, The Vanguard program continues to lead the way for those eager to build their brands to Net-a-Porter standards and welcomes three hand-picked designers who will receive the best mentorship from Net-a-Porter’s global team of specialists, as well as support them with a long-term development plan to help them become successful brands int the years to come.

Coming in with their expertise is three names that you need to have on your radar: ARTCLUB, Jia Jia and MINJUKIM.

The globally renowned program for emerging designer talent will feature collections for the Fall/Winter ’20 season, and the program will also see MINJUKIM’s second exclusive collection for Net-a-Porter after winning the hit Netflix show, Next in Fashion, earlier this year. 

“Over the past four seasons, we have had the incredible opportunity to witness the talented emerging brands in The Vanguard program grow towards long-lasting success,” says Elizabeth von der Goltz, Global Buying Director, Net-a-Porter. “It is so important to us to provide insightful mentorship which we are committed to continuously developing. Two years after launching the program, we are excited to announce the latest three designers JiaJia, ARTCLUB and MINJUKIM to join The Vanguard, each offering uniqueness to the industry that is sure to resonate with the Net-a-Porter customer.”

ARTCLUB

ARTCLUB is the brainchild of Australian-based designer, Heidi Middleton, who creates pieces that blend masculine and feminine aesthetics. With strong shapes and a muted palette, the sustainable-driven brand is an easy go-to choice for the modern woman.

Jia Jia 

Bringing something unique to the industry, Jia Jia is offering fine jewellery and hand-selected crystals that are uncut and untreated. Each piece comes set with gold, diamonds and hand-carved stones.

MINJUKIM

After launching her namesake brand in 2015, Minju Kim is finally getting the attention she deserves with her eponymous label. Since then, she’s been a semi-finalist in the LVMH Prize for young fashion designers and won Netflix’s Next in Fashion competition. Her clothes speak volumes (quite literally) as she adds a playful touch to avant-garde haute couture silhouettes.
