Jennifer Lopez is the new face of Coach

Welcome to the family!
J.Lo replaces Selena Gomez as the brand’s new global ambassador…

How do you close the year off with a bang? Well, if you’re Jennifer Lopez, you land yourself a killer deal as the face of luxury brand Coach.

Yes, this year has been a huge success as well as career renaissance for J.Lo; she got engaged to Alex Rodriguez, shut down the internet when she closed the Versace S/S2020 show in a plunging, jungle-printed dress she wore to the Grammys back in 2000, headlined the wildly successful ‘It’s My Party’ tour for her 50th birthday, and starred in as well as received Oscar buzz for her role in Hustlers.

Now, Jennifer has landed a new job as the global ambassador for New York-based accessories and ready-to-wear brand Coach, announcing the exciting collaboration with her 105 million followers in a glamorous Instagram post on Tuesday, dressed in a belted long trench coat, flowing silk scarf and, of course, chain-strap leather Coach bag.

She shared her excitement writing, “Thank you @coach! Exciting things coming soon!!!” The fashion brand also shared the same image, revealing to its followers when they can expect her collection to arrive in its caption, “Get ready to be swept away. #JLo is the new face of Coach. More to come in 2020 #CoachxJLo #CoachNY.”

The Hustlers actress’ partnership with the fashion house will start rolling out from spring 2020, where she will appear in ad campaigns for Coach’s signature leather goods, ready-to-wear collections and footwear.

The 50-year-old joins fellow A-list ambassadors Selena Gomez, Michael B Jordan and Yara Shahidi as part of the Coach family. “Jennifer is so authentic. She’s determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way — she really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign,” Coach creative director Stuart Vevers said in a statement.
