Australian designer Alice McCall to join NYFW

Joining Zimmermann and Dion Lee
Another Australian designer is taking their wares to the Big Apple for fashion week. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the details...

Australian designers are loved amongst the fash pack worldwide for their cool designs in quality materials and timeless silhouettes. Zimmermann, Dion Lee and Camilla & Marc are among the country’s top fashion exports with the former two showing on the New York Fashion Week schedule for the past few years. And this year, they’ll be joined by fellow countrywoman, Alice McCall.

Showing for the first time, McCall will bring her bohemian glamour, party-ready aesthetic to the Big Apple in February. “We are so excited to be showing on schedule. We have really been focusing on international growth and it’s been an exciting time seeing the amount of potential for the brand internationally — it’s wonderful seeing the support we’ve received through Net-a-Porter and Moda Operandi of late.”

The brand has enjoyed success in the Middle East also, stocked locally on Ounass and Nass, and has been spotted on celebrities include model-of-the-moment Kaia Gerber (who made her couture debut yesterday for Chanel), Beyoncé, Shanina Shaik, Jamie King and Emma Roberts.
