Through 'Gaza is Calling' and the Artists For Aid concert series, Mustafa the Poet continues to use his platform to shed light on critical humanitarian issues.

Earlier this month, Mustafa the Poet released a powerful new song, Gaza is Calling. Featuring Bella Hadid and MC Abdul, the song’s proceeds will support the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund. Mustafa shared the emotional backstory on Instagram, revealing that the song took over two years to create and is inspired by a Gazan boy he grew up with. “I wrote & recorded it in 2022. I called Bella about this film over two years ago; we shot it last year,” he captioned.

Mustafa the Poet has been a tireless advocate for humanitarian causes, particularly in Gaza and Sudan. His passion for these causes is evident in his previous collaborations with other artists to raise awareness and funds. One notable effort was a benefit concert with Mohammed El-Kurd and Stormzy, showcasing his dedication to making a difference.

Building on this dedication, Mustafa is bringing the London edition of his benefit concert series, Artists For Aid, to the Troxy on July 4. Organized in partnership with War Child, the event aims to raise funds for humanitarian efforts in Palestine and Sudan. Following a successful debut in New Jersey earlier this year, the London show promises to be equally compelling.

The lineup for the London concert is stellar, featuring a diverse array of talents. Blood Orange will return to London, joined by the soulful Clairo, iconic rapper Earl Sweatshirt, and electronic virtuoso Nicolas Jaar. The legendary Yasiin Bey, also known as Mos Def, will bring his magnetic presence to the stage, while King Krule is set to deliver an anticipated hometown performance. The event will also showcase the smooth vocals of Daniel Caesar, the innovative sounds of Bint Mbareh, and the comedic brilliance of Ramy Youssef.

Fans are encouraged to secure their spots for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music and solidarity. Mustafa’s heartfelt call to action, “London! Sudan is calling. Gaza is calling. Every artist here is a hero of empathy; thank you for answering our call,” resonates deeply, underscoring the importance of coming together to support those in need.
