L’Oréal Professionel names Lebanese star Maya Diab as first Arabic ambassador

She joins Hollywood heavyweights in the role
L'Oréal has just announced a brand new face of the brand, hailing from the Middle East...

Lebanese personality Maya Diab has just secured two years worth of good hair days thanks to her signing with L’Oréal Professionel.

The beauty giant today announced that the singer/actress/TV host is its newest face — and the first Arabic ambassador for the brand. It’s a huge coup for Diab as she joins the likes of the new Mrs Bieber, Hailey Baldwin, Alexa Chung and Taylor Hill as ambassador.

On her appointment, Theresa Assi, the GM of the Professionel Products Division for L’Oréal Middle East, commented, “As a singer, actress and TV personality, Maya Diab is one of the most recognisable pop icons in the Middle East today. Her style and individuality strongly resonate with L’Oréal Professionel and we are very proud to have her as the first Arabic ambassador for the brand.”

Diab’s first campaign for the brand will be around the hottest hair looks of the season, a seasonal campaign she will participate in over the next two years that will also see the launch of new colours inspired by Maya. The first colour is Cream Blond Soda which is available in L’Oréal Pro salons now. She will also front the Serie Expert range, specifically its new Blondifier product that promises to help refresh and strengthen blond hair. This product will be launched exclusively in the GCC.

Here’s to many more Arab talents shining on the international stage.
