How to recreate Emily Ratajkowski’s red carpet glow

The model appeared at the Daily Front Row Fashion LA Awards
The Daily Front Row Fashion LA Awards happened over the weekend and there was one showstopping beauty look that we needed to know how to replicate at home...

Last night, the 2018 Daily Front Row Fashion LA Awards took place in California. The likes of Moschino’s Jeremy Scott (who just revealed the brand is latest designer collaboration with H&M), Chrissy Teigen, Nicole Richie, Jen Atkin and Kris Jenner were in attendance. So too was model-turned-actress Emily Ratajkowski (who took home the Model of the Year award), sporting a serious I-just-stepped-off-a-tropical-island glow. And whilst we originally thought the glow was thanks to her newlywed status (she tied the knot with short-term boyfriend Sebastian Bear-Mcclard just under two months ago), it turns out it’s entirely replicable at home.

Hung Vanngo — who was recently in Dubai and spoke with Buro 24/7 Middle East — is the man responsible for the look which he created using only Marc Jacobs Beauty products (he is a Global Artistry Ambassador for the brand). Speaking of the look, he said, “We gave Emily a  modern take on ’70s hair and makeup. Her hair was effortless and wavy and for makeup, I maintained her natural tan and added a bit of dewiness with warm golden and peachy nude shades on the eyes, lips and cheeks.”

Here’s your step-by-step guide on how to recreate the look at home…

Base

The products used to create Emily’s flawless base were the Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer, followed by a mix of Shameless Youthful-Look 24-H Foundation in Y370 and Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter in Dew You?, finished with the Remedy Concealer Pen in 4 Late Show. The look was set using the Perfection Powder — Featherweight Foundation in Golden Fawn 400 before a light sweep of O!Mega Bronzer Perfect Tan in Tantric 102 was applied to her cheekbones and jawline.

Eyes

Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Sunset 34 was used on the waterline and upper and lower lash lines, whilst the ‘Known For’, ‘Infamous’ and ‘She Was’ shades from the Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Glambition were used across the eyelids, on the outer corners of the eyes and brow bones respectively. He finished the eyes with a coating of Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara.

Brows

It only takes one look at Emily to see that her brows need little work so Hung only used a small amount of the Brow Wow Defining Longwear Eyebrow Pencil in Medium Brown 6 which he set using the Brow Tamer Grooming Gel.

Lips

Emily’s apricot-nude lip was the result of using the New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick in In The Mood 152.

Final touches

The look was set using the Re(cover) Perfecting Coconut Setting Mist whilst her décolletage was illuminated using the Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator.
